Vacancy for DIY Grass Livery.
We currently have a vacancy on our BHS Approved Yard for a grass livery. The vacancy is for a gelding and our DIY Grass Livery package offers use of all the yards facilities, which includes a secure tack room, feed room, hay shed, tie up area, rug drying area and you have the assurance that there’s a stable on hand if you require to use it in an emergency situation. There’s a kitchen area in the tack room, so a warm cup of tea is never far away!
Our package also includes use of our fabulous outdoor all weather arena which provides a fantastic surface to train even in the wettest of Highland winters. You are also welcome to use our extensive range of show jumping equipment and can access the working hunter course when it is built in the summer. There’s dressage boarding and games equipment too so there’s something for everyone! The yard is situated on the outskirts of Dingwall and is within easy travelling distance of several competition venues.
Your gelding will share a 20 acre field with five other geldings during the winter months. The field is easily accessed from the stables and the access is lit. An area of hard standing has been incorporated into the field and this is where we have positioned a hay feeder, so your horse won’t be standing up to his knees in mud! In the summer months the geldings move out of the 20 acre field and are divided into smaller groups. At £17.50 per week we believe we offer excellent facilities at a competitive price and everything to make a Highland winter more bearable for both you and your horse!
